Oh god, it should be on the road-map since two years. I breathed deeply when I changed the ticket status to "fixed".
We always knew how the chip worked, but never had the time to implement it to the software. You could imagine how frustrating it was.
The RFID Suite 2011 version will support Mifare DESFire EV1, just like any other chip.
